Content Management Interoperability Services Version 1.0 as PDF

The actual CMIS specification version 1.0 can be downloaded. The version is “Committee Draft 04″ and it has 226 pages in total.

CMIS Draft 0.62d is now available

The CMIS draft 0.62d is available since 15. July 2009 and can be downloaded here.

Regarding the OASIS CMIS project website 199 of 214 issues have been resolved. So I assume that the final release will be soon available.

CMIS v0.61 is now supported by Alfresco Community Edition 3.2

The Alfresco Community Edition 3.2 is now released.

Beside different enhancements it now supports CMIS v0.61.

  • All mandatory CMIS v0.61 capabilities and most of the optional
  • Web Services and AtomPub (REST) Bindings support includes:
    • Create/Read/Update/Delete
    • Types including custom metadata
    • Versioning
    • Relationships
    • Allowable actions
    • Query (with the exception of Joins)

Status CMIS Draft 0.62

The actual CMIS version 0.61 is available since April 2009 . Everybody who wants to know about the status of the upcoming version 0.62 can have a look at the OASIS CMIS project website.

At the moment 103 of 143 issues have already been solved.
These issues belong to

  • Schema,
  • Web Services Binding
  • or no components.
