eZ Publish will support CMIS in release 4.2


The Open Source Web Content Management System eZ Publish will support the CMIS standard in the next release.
The release for 4.2 is planned to be available on September 29th, 2009.

    Readers should note that in September of 2009 the CMIS specification will not be finalized yet.
    Take any announcement of a vendor claiming CMIS compliance with a grain of salt…
    Nevertheless any effort toward following the CMIS drafts is of course very welcome and must be praised!
